Do you think it was right for Adam and Ben to put down 5 on each station down south to minimise their losses for the steal? I reckon that putting down 4 coins on a place you think it's unlikely for the other team to come back and challenge is effectively a waste of 4 coins, if you could use those coins later.

Meanwhile, if you didn't shed those 4 coins, and the other team got a 50% steal, they would steal 2 of your coins, resulting in a 4 coin swing. And, since it's not guaranteed the other team would win the steal, maybe it's worth not shedding coins for the sake of it, unless you wanted to fortify that area anyway?

That said, you dropping 4 coins to fortify an unimportant area is still more valuable than the other team gaining a net of 4 coins and being able to place them anywhere on the map.

All that said, I'm not sure at all how to value chips - maybe you should just earn and dump whenever possible and not worry about strategy until the final day? It's really difficult to foresee what the value could be.

It was hilarious watching a classic Ben and Adam risk ratchet where they gradually talk themselves up from 3 to 6 cans 😅 "I dunno man" and "it seems pretty stable!" while pulling this face:

That said, I think I agree with them, they seriously need the coins and if there's a time to go big, this is it!

The steals feel a bit too ridiculously easy for how powerful they are, the 25% margin of error for the jellyfish tank one made it hard to fail and now this one is to find a giant bright caterpillar located on that town's main street.

I agree! Steals are real important. Assumign the challenges are actually relatively evenly disbursed, I don't think it's a terrible choice, but boy this bad luck for ben and adam regarding challenge placement...it's turned out very lopsided!
