watching this world cup is amazing to me. it's like an unintentional parody of the prestige these events garner while also being about a sport i'm so unfamiliar with it's humorous to me.

Are they playing catch?
Very similar to catch, you have about 7 attackers and 3 defenders with specific rules on how to attack: direction of run, how to kho your teammate etc..
Think of tag (the fancy ones) but the obstacles are rules
Damn did not know, it got so popular that we now have a world cup :D
I have no idea what's going on but it seems like it's very good schoolyard fun
