I kinda introduced myself to few acquaintance's here via clubs (Data Analytics etc..) Whenever I used to ask if they could please refer me to someone they know potentially, they would lose it (rightfully so) but I wish I had met this bloke back then.

Also, for context I am from India, and India all you need to do is explain your situation to your acquaintance and they would most probably help you like the bloke in this video.
