Nolan's regretting his life choices over protein tubes felt real. I hope that Debbie forgives him, but stays with Paul.

Conquest rematch was done horrifying, gory, justice.

I think it will be impossible for Debbie to forgive Nolan given how little time they spend together. I think in a world where Debbie and Nolan are just divorced and Nolan can spend the rest of her life on Earth, making up for it, being a good father to Mark and Oliver, maybe, just maybe in that case she gives him a little bit of forgiveness.

But with it just being what Nolan has done according to Mark and Oliver's stories... Even if he defeats the Viltrumite Empire and brings peace... That doesn't mean anything to Debbie.

I think the best Nolan can hope for is being a good father to Mark and Oliver, and Debbie respecting him for that.

Nolan and Debbie conversation was the highlight of he episode for me. I know Conquest vs Invincible is meant to be, and it was absolutely an amazing fight, but Debbie and Nolan is the one that is going to stick with me.

The classic, "who is this conversation for" and Debbie punching Nolan until she hurts herself. Mark and Oliver get to live with Nolan and see how he's changed, or in the case of Olivier get to see him as they man he's always been. But Debbie, and to a similar extent Art, to them Nolan only has words. He said the right things don't get me wrong, but he's caused so much damage. Art even daring to tell Nolan that he only makes outfits for heros. He risked it all to say that.

I've read the entire comic series and while I've got my criticisms of Kirkman and the comics, I gotta admit he knows how to write a compelling villain I want to see die.

It was nice to get to this point with Conquest finally biting it. The show didn't shy away from the gruesome literal gut pulling either, I really didn't think they were gonna go there.

Additionally, I could tell they had their A team on the animation for this one, all the characters stayed on model for the most part. The first fight with Conquest was animated better, but overall, I'm impressed. Well done.

Just finished the episode, Holy Fucking Shit

The gut pull was hard to watch. Nolan not being able to make up for the monstrous things he did was great.
