Lotion: Humble Bee Botanicals Calendulove Face Cream
Fragrance: Stirling Deton-8 EdT
1st pass WTG 2nd pass XTG. Taking down 8 days of growth. Pretty good shave, not much irritation; CCS. Pleasantly surprised by how well the 3rd use of the blade went!!
Hopefully I can get my shit together and shave more frequently this coming week as I was definitely missing my shaves last week. I hate having to wear a beard net at work 😠
Fragrance: Spearhead Shaving Company - Seaforth! Leather - EdT
Pretty good two pass shave, though not as close as I'd like. I can't tell if the edge on this razor needs refreshing, or whether I'm still just not used to the geometry of a wedge/near wedge.
I think I did around 20 laps today before the shave. Probably could have done more.
I did pick up some chromium oxide paste recently, but haven’t put it on anything yet. Not sure how I want to approach that. I’d prefer not to use my existing linen strop, but I’m not sure how to best hang or mount something like a strip of denim or something.
For you and for @[email protected], I take denim, staple it around a 2x4 that I've sanded flat and use that as a bench strop. Alternatively, you can go to a hobby store, buy a dense piece of balsa (around 8x3), sand it flat, and then apply the chromium oxide directly to the wood. Balsa strops are terrific.

Leather continues to be a fantastic fragrance.
Probably needs a refresh
How much stropping did you do? This razor seems to take well to lots of stropping. You can also try Chromium Oxide if you have it.

Balsa sounds right up my alley.
This is what mine looks like. No idea what I'm doing.
The cuff from the pant leg holds it in place when the drawer is closed.

Such a good shaving razor. I want to do a side by side with a Tech, and also maybe the RazoRock Goat.
