That definitely felt like a Mass Effect game.

Cautiously optimistic since it seems they've abandoned the Mass Effect IP, despite whatever Buoware wants to claim. Planned DLC for the last game being cancelled, in a tiny teaser years ago with no updates, does not bode well.

A damage control "video" released years ago saying they're not done with it, and nothing since. Ubisoft saying, they're still "working on it" late last year when asked but no new info. And every other major studio on the planet just like them cancelling early completed games left and right recently.

That would require Ubisoft to have learned to temper expectations... Not something they've ever been shown to do.

Even if we do get it, it's likely to be filled with AI slop at this point. And after the issues with Andromeda... That will definitely kill it for a large part of the playerbase.

Erm Bioware is an EA Subsidiary.

Exactly. There is every reason to expect bullshit. They are the most actively anti-consumer publisher in the industry. Even winning awards for being the "Worst Company in America" by the Consumerist in 2012 and 2013, beating out companies like AT&T, Walmart, and Bank of America... and that was immediately after a Mass Effect release. That's really saying something since Nintendo has no problem suing their players for playing their games in a way they don't like (any mods).

Also what evidence do you have that the devs are using AI?

Nothing directly since they haven't released anything about the actual game... But EA is definitely going all in and mandating use by developers, and those devs are having lots of issues with it, obviously.

And they've fired developers in favor of AI use...

So I'd say the chances of there not being AI used in the game are basically zero. Especially since Bioware isn't one of the studios that historically has told EA to kick rocks when they want something.
