Strange New Worlds and Starfleet Academy are on my list of shows I want to watch (also, Lower Decks) but if I binged all the Trek series at once, they'd all kinda mix together and I wouldn't appreciate them individually. Last Trek I watched was either Section 31 (trash) or Prodigy (way better than I thought it would be).

Side note: Currently playing Dragon Age Origins on Xbox (Xbox 360 era fantasy RPG from 2007-ish) and Kate Mulgrew (Janeway) voices an old witch, and she's awesome in it. I would romance her character if I could, but I'm pretty sure you can't. I never skip her lines. Also, I just finished Mass Effect 4, which was the result of developer BioWare (which also makes Dragon Age, which is why I'm playing it, I love their style of game) getting to make a Star Wars game, and making the best Star Wars game ever (Knights of the Old Republic), still losing the Star Wars license, and saying "screw you, we'll take the best parts of Star Wars and Star Trek and make our own IP. Thus, Mass Effect. The first one is by far the worst one, but it's also better than a lot of games out there. (And the original 360 version is straight trash, the Legendary Edition bundles the first three and re-balances the first two to be more like the third one, and they all get a spec bump.) Basically IMO it's 2 > 4 > 3 > 1, though 4 and 3 are very close. 3 is dragged down by a "pick a path" ending (without telling you which path leads to what ending, after spending 20 minutes explaining the choices, you end up not getting one, unless you read a guide). Overall though, if you like Star Trek and you lament that there has never been a great Star Trek game... and you don't mind a side of super powers (totally not Jedi/Sith!)... then you need to pick up the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Goes on sale for six bucks all the time, and it has the first three games. I got #4 for $4 for the deluxe, but the standard was $3. The Trilogy is something like 100-120 hours of entertainment, especially if you wanna go everywhere and do everything. For the Trekker, just stick to guns and play like you're Sisko (or Janeway, FemShep best Shep).

Finally got around to starting Starfleet Academy and absolutely love it. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about it and thought it might be tailored to younger adults (and it is), but the adult cast is fantastic and I like the continuation of the "rebuilding the Federation" concept introduced in Discovery.

so sunday through friday night I have a station that broadcast TOS, TNG, DS9, voyager, and enterprise. I usually at least catcha toss and maybe a TNG and sometimes the rest. It gets later and later and I have to walk the dog at some point to. Its kinda fun seeing episodes without deciding what they will be beforehand. just picked up first two season of lower decks but did not watch this week.
