I’m slowly getting used to it but i feel it’s worth the move

Christian Lemmy needs Apollo. I am an ultra subscriber and would gladly pay again for an apollo version to browse Lemmy.

I know there are more than a few that agree with me!

Definitely try Memmy if there are still spots open. Any native app experience is way better than using mobile web.

Yes memmy is great. The dev is updating it almost 2-3 times a day to get it working! There was another one (mlem?) but last i heard there was some disagreements between the dev and community and it was pulled with plans for it to be continued by someone else. I never tested it (beta was full) so not sure if it was better or worse than memmy. All I know is I am typing this from Memmy and couldn’t be happier with it.

Yep another Memmy user here. Also an Apollo subscriber, and Memmy feels as close to that experience as I’ve found so far. Also tried to get onto the Mlem TestFlight but it was full.

It feels similar to Apollo. I’m definitely migrating well. I have to if I’m going to survive without Apollo :(

Currently commenting on this with Memmy, surprisingly similar to Apollo!

Porting over all the communities I used to follow back on Reddit before Apollo goes down.

I’m currently test flighting memmy and mlem. Memmy is winning me over more and more. I still don’t know what I am doing as far as adding “subreddits” for lack of a better term but I’m getting there.

Starting all of this over again is good for me though. I’m 44 year old low voltage technician and I need to keep my brain in shape ;)

Artemis is kind of a "successor" app to apollo (but for Lemmy), it will apparently be both for android and iOS

I’m using Memmy but I can’t figure out how to see my notifications and comments. It looks like profile page is still a work in progress.

Hoping it gets sorted soon, as otherwise it’s been pretty solid.🤞

Not many iOS apps for Lemmy yet.

Are you the dev? If so, thanks for your work on this. It's much nicer than trying to browse via mobile web, even if it's still incomplete.

Can confirm.

My Lemmy usage has gone up since I started using Memmy.

It’s the best app I’ve found for iOS so far.

2

I’m also an ultra subscriber who would happily pay for an Apollo for Lemmy app. But if Christian isn’t interested in making one, there are several other apps in the works. I’ve tried Mlem, Memmy, and Limbo - Memmy is definitely my favorite so far.

The guy who makes Sync for Reddit is making a lemmy app, so whether or not apollo happens there will at least be one high quality app

It's available for ios on testflight as a beta, but obviously only for another week or so.

Really, do you have a link, please? I'd assumed it was Android only.

2

I'm a Sync guy, and plan to buy pro when it comes out for lemmy.

I am onehundred percent in favor of keeping the money coming in for the developers. I know nothing of the technical hurdles, but my message to Christian and all developers would be this:

Please help us say fuck you to spez, by letting us give you money.
