Yeah... That wasn't the reason. The real reason is because y'all been destroying passionate art since the fucking 80s by buying up successful studios and making them churn out garbage.
And abusing workers to do it, and probably fucking over the public in some other ways I can't even remember right now.
To be fair, EA in the '80s was pretty good, they made some good software and didn't start buying up other companies until the '90s.
