not trying to offend but will this instance be promoting tags for filtering?

This is the most diplomatic way to say I'm tired of seeing chicks with dicks in communities that are 99% chicks without dicks.

I recognise that adorable is subjective so filtering allows users to tailor content to subjective interests.

Perhaps. I have no idea how stable or feasible this instance will be, or capabilities. Until then...

I mean, it's just a naming convention. Users only need put the gender of the content in the post title like: [M], [F], [T]

That way users can implement content filters.

There are absolutely no restrictions on posters adding tags 😊.
But mandatory tags have never worked (based on years of moderating many communities...). The harder you make it for posters and to try to police it, the less it becomes workable.

Hence 'promote' as in: not mandatory but communicated as highly appreciated in recognition of fellow community users. For example, you could have a bot that auto comments in posts without tags that says: hey, noticed you didn't add a gender tag to your title. To help users find and filter content, consider adding a gender like [M] [F] or [T] Just some feedback to improve user experience, you may not care don't know

I'll likely copy some of the rules from the old https://lemmynsfw.com/c/adorableporn

see the posts history of that community over the past 2 years to see how effective tagging actually (doesn't) works...

Using bots to nag posters and pollute posts with such comments as you recommend is IMHO the absolute worst thing to do... Tbh, I am willing to lose a few hundred lurkers rather than lose one poster.
