What are we supposed to do? Just leave legendary chiptunes alone?

I paid $50 to import the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack from Japan ~30 years ago. It's sitting on my bookcase. I can see it from here.
I found a download for it that was 5MB. This was when MP3s were like 1MB/minute. It was one MP3 (One-Winged Angel) and a bunch of .MID files. I was so mad, but then I played them at the same time as the CDs and they sounded near identical.
Now I don't have anything that plays CDs (except my Xbox, I suppose), but I have the CD ripped anyway. I also have it saved on Apple Music (paid streaming). And it's not bad, I still listen to it from time to time, but I absolutely love the symphonic remakes.
I think [this is the original Cosmo Canyon])(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqO5h3-HFW8). Now here's the Distant Worlds version. This song was never a favourite of mine, but apparently a lot of people like it, so I went back and listened to it on its own and thought, "yeah that song was great in the game, I just never really thought about looking it up." I go more for Aerith's theme. But you can't go wrong with most of the soundtrack.
