Did you guys give up on trying to get redditors over here?
I saw no one's posted here for a few days, so I checked out the futurology subreddit and there's nothing there to direct users here other than a small link in the sidebar.
There was a previous thread on this community (which I don't see anymore) noting that most of the users here were from lemmy and not reddit, and there was a discussion about how to attract more people from reddit.
It looks like you've largely given up on that?
I'm not evangelical. If the prior actions of Reddit didn't convince folks to leave it behind (or seek an alternative), then they've made their choice.
A lot of people are poorly informed though. So it's important to make an effort to inform them of the plethora of reasons to avoid reddit, and that an alternative exists.
You are welcome to try to preach to the masses. I wish you luck.
