I gambled 50 bucks on a Digi002, and after a pcie firewire card arrived from China, I booted up and was immediately able to use it, sort of - I'm getting choppy audio under Trixie's default Pipewire setup, and the instructions say you need to use a specific thing when launching Jack, to do with the server rather than the device dealing with the clock timing. I only get the bad audio when I'm taxing the (current) i3 cpu.

I'm hoping to find one or more other people who recognized the value of this device under Linux, and find out if they had to go to bare alsa/jack, or if Pipewire can do the job when configured correctly.

Would prefer to stay with the new thing, but old style Jack is also acceptable to me.
