For decades, Europe has been portraying itself as a defender of international law. An image that, at least in the Middle East, is already trashed following the Gaza war, and more globally again lies visibly cracked.

As a Spaniard, I would like to tell my German brothers (whom the post mentions directly) that it is time for historical debts to be settled, It's time to measure everyone by the same standard and talk about everyone without the weight of history in mind
Sadly we're currently saddled with a right-leaning government that would prefer to conveniently forget about those times.

I don't blame the German people. I've seen enough Germans stand up against the genocide Israel is committing. I know the German people are learning, even if you are imperfect. But I urge your leaders and citizens to get the act together politically and create a left-coalition that can put aside differences and counter the right wing. I know that you all can do it!
Coalition? What for? More than half of the electorate votes for right wingers, and it keeps getting worse.
The author seems to forget another crucial matter. Its not just that Europe relies heavily on American weapons/military both for its defence and for the war in Ukraine, it is also that the Islamic occupiers of Iran have directly and explicitly involved their military industrial complex in an European war on the side of the aggressor.
They have built an entire drone industry inside Russia and for years they have directly helped Russia in its imperialist quest of conquering Ukraine with the thousands upon thousands of drones that have struck hospitals, schools, residential areas, energy infrastructure, military infrastructure, etc.
The Islamic occupiers are directly invested and benefit directly from Russia's war of aggression.
And that's another matter that I argue weighs heavily on the European choice of silence.

Sanchez on the other hand depends on support from far-left parties to keep in power and that's his main motivation. His words in any case appease those parties without any other consequence in the conflict.. it's a bit like not participating in Eurovision, but at the same time discreetly keep trade with Israel. Symbols to appease puppets.
What silence? Aside from Spain, you all vocally support the war. You whined when America threatened to invade Greenland, but you've snapped back to your master's heel now that they've started their own war of aggression in the middle east.

Bizarre. Iranians abroad and in Iran are celebrating, but the Spanish government uses this war to portray itself as a defender of international law.
My girlfriends family is from Iran, they hate the regime there. But surely they are not celebrating. They are scared not hearing from their families since days, who still are in Iran.
Just remember this war is not about regime change. Maybe have a look at Venezuela how that worked out...
This action clearly violates again international law, and because they claim Iran was 5 minutes away from having a nuclear bomb. Since they so successful destroyed everything in their last raid.
Don't cry if China attacks Taiwan and claims Taiwan was just 21min away from nuclear bomb...
