I did not know this community existed until today. I baked my first loaf last weekend after messing with the starter for 5 months.

Lovely colour and appearance! I guess 5 months gave your starter enough time to be a great starter.

Ooh that looks so pretty! You have more patience than I do, to hang onto a starter for 5 months before using it!

My wife kept telling all of her coworkers about the starter that wouldn’t grow so failure was not an option haha

I’m going to bake 2 more loaves after work but I think I messed up the bulk fermentation. I will let you know how it goes.
