Hello, fellow nature nerds! I will introduce myself with a cute pic of a lace bug I saw a few days ago.

I am a very green convert from Reddit Sync, and am still internally dealing with the sadness of having to leave some great communities on there... This place already seems like it'll be a lot of fun, even with how small it is yet.

Oh wow! Never seen one of them so up close!

I am in the same boat as you. But I know that despite it being a difficult thing initially, if we have enough migrators flocking here, it might not be the same place as Reddit, but it will be enough of a haven for us to survive and then thrive!

Yeah it was such a fun little surprise. It was on my hiking pants which are light tan, and so it blended in pretty decently. I was able to spot it because of its funny little wobbly gait.

Aww, that lace bug is adorbs! I finally found one of these a few weeks ago after literally years of trying! So cool; thanks for sharing that!!

I just learned about these things after aphids colonized my birch tree. We ordered lacewing eggs online. I go outside and check for new larvae about every hour. I cannot wait for them all to hatch.

You reached the end
