Lotion: Humble Bee Botanicals "Calendulove" Face Cream
Fragrance: Stirling Deton-8 EdT
1 pass WTG. Very comfortable. A socially acceptable shave.
In hindsight I used WAY too much soap, maybe 10x what I needed. Still getting used to loading different soap consistencies using different brushes... And this soap is nuts! Super different from what I have used before, so far I like it a lot a lot. The scent is intriguing, hard to describe. Very nice. My face feels awesome, if a little dried by my overuse of the soap.
Post Shave: Stirling Soap Co. - Unscented - Aftershave
Osma: Osma - Osma
Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery - G20
I’m stanning Fanzine for MM. I have three FS soaps, this one, TINAT, and Caravaggio. So far TINAT and P.S. have been great. Looking forward to using Caravaggio for my next shave (hopefully in two days).
Razor: Razorock Cyber Medium w/ 316L Bamboo handle

One pass on both the dome and the neck. Reopened some spots from yesterday, but still a really comfortable shave!
So today I turned 32. I am now fully arrived in my thirties. There sure are some things I'd like to change and improve, but I guess I am on a rather solid path right now. Thanks to my parents, I didn't had to spend the day alone. I had a quiet, relaxed b-day in their company plus the two dogs. It was also great sunny weather for a nice long dog walk, perfect for a slow Sunday. This shave was a nice finish to this smooth day.
What can I say, I really like leather scents. Cuir et Epices is a really warm, smooth leather scent. Reminiscent of a good leather jacket or furniture. It has a very comfy vibe IMHO and that's perfect for the occasion. The Tortuga AS spray was fitting nicely with the spices in it and brought some mild menthol chill with it. As for the Cyber Medium, it's hard to get hurt with this razor as it's kinda like the Henson but without marketing buzz. I think it's interesting how these razors achieve an GEM-like feel (holding the safety bar flat to my skin) with a DE just by a very sharply angled head geometry. Basically, this is a razor I could use while I am sick, mildly intoxicated or otherwise impaired - works on autopilot. The result is always a smooth dome.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Unfortunately I have to prep for yet another early shift now...

The r/wetshaving March Madness event is always a good time. The only thing I don't like is that I can only vote for one brand on each of the competition days. They're all so good, I want them all to win!
Today my vote is with CGC. Caoba is a comforting woody scent, and the Darkwing base performed excellently as always.
Aftershave: Chicago Grooming - AG 1889 - Aftershave
2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
The was a very successful test shave of a new edge on this razor that was created on a Nakayama Maruka Zen stone. And, also, a very successful start to March Madness.

If Mike's or Fanzine does not win, you're all cowards.
SOTD - 2026-03-01
March Madness! I pick Chiseled Face Groomatorium, but I only support their tallow base.
Ghost Town Barber is a really nice scent. I had a really slick shave this morning.
Yay! No more ASS score table! Have a good one.
Primidi 11 Ventôse an 234 de la Révolution, jour de Narcisse
A great shave, with a great base and a very consensual scent.
Have a good Sunday!

$discord Have to post this to Reddit so Fanzine can excel in this competition.
So you're not banned yet?
Good question.
Nice seeing the "little guys" (Fanzine, Talent Soap) duke'n it out with big soap.

CGC++;
Too good to be number 16 on the list.
I agree 100%.
