I mean it wasn't 24h, I believe for most was around 6h, but during the night.. people on flights that should last less than 2 hours in some cases... Terrible that an airport like Munich doesn't have a plan for such incident and sorry for pointing it out a stereotype but once again a very German way of (non) reacting to an unforseen problem. This would have not happen in most countries.
