Not only Yoko Taro has awakened, but Keiichi Okabe is also working on it. I hope creative team will be given free hand to tell heartwrenching story and completely reimagine Evangelion lore. I would prefer this series to have vastly different story, but touch the same themes as original Neon Genesis Evangelion.
