Not only Yoko Taro has awakened, but Keiichi Okabe is also working on it. I hope creative team will be given free hand to tell heartwrenching story and completely reimagine Evangelion lore. I would prefer this series to have vastly different story, but touch the same themes as original Neon Genesis Evangelion.

There was a group of people who said that the narrative might be primarily focused on Asuka...
Actually, I think they might have wanted to deviate a bit from the main lore...
iI wouldn't mind if it strongly deviates from the main lore, as long it will tackle same themes as the original series.
We will always have the original NGE to return to, and I want Yoko Taro to be able to tell his story without too many constraints.
