After a long mild spell here we had a pretty big snow, so I decided to get out some more of my winter themed stuff again.

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.

This was a test shave for the freshly honed edge on this razor. The comfortable Jnat edge, and the wonderful scent of Contraband Bay Rum made for a very enjoyable shave.

Sample kill. I don't think I'll get Gingerbread Man again. It's not bad. It's one dimensional and the scent is pretty light.

Airbud is protecting me from LatherBot brutality today.

  • Razor: Worcester Razor Co. Straight - 6/8 Hollow (3)
  • Lather: Central Texas Soaps - Down at the River - Soap
  • Post Shave: MW - Bay Rum - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Zingari Man - The Stargazer - Aftershave Serum

Decent shave! Less irritation than yesterday -- either because of my technique, the lather, or both! What am I saying, isn't it all technique?

This aftershave was sent to me by a good friend who I've converted to wetshaving. He made this Bay Rum using Rum, uh... Bay, and some other stuff. It's very smooth and honestly smells great. A lot of the Bay Rum's that I've smelled are sharp with the spiciness, and this one leans heavily into the actual Rum scent. Quite pleasing!

First time using this new synth from Stirling. Soft tips and good backbone, this should serve well as my new travel brush.
