That's kind-of fucking hilarious.
Are you by any chance thinking Soulseek is some AI model to make AI music, or some platform like Spotify, or is it hilarious that the biggest archive of rare music, collected and shared directly between the users, is being poisoned?
I've been using slsk since 2002.
In 2002 I was on Kazaa.
I read this post as "guy hides AI crap posing as real books in public libraries", a lot of Slsk is maintained by big whales automatically downloading and resharing libraries, to find it funny having this poisoned by AI crap... perhaps we don't deserve to have nice things after all...
I'm not mad at a little bit of humorous and mildly annoying chaos. "Poisoned" seems like quite the hyperbole. The whales hardly carry the good "rare" shit, anyhow. They also have the worst speeds and queues. Source from meticulously sorted libraries, and at the very least preview what you accumulate.
I think you mean 'enhanced'
Well that sucks
What a piece of shit.
Joke's on you pal, I'm into homercore.
lmaoo. kinda surprised vice is writing an article on soulseek.
D'oh
I am evil homer! I am evil homer!
This is the best news I've heard all week
Are you a copyright lawyer working for Universal?
More just making the point that there's much worse things in the news currently and that this is pretty inconsequential.
The bar for good news has moved such that even bad news is better than most.
