Eurovision 2026: Electronic artist and YouTuber Look Mum No Computer to represent UK in Vienna - BBC News
Electronic music artist and tech creator Look Mum No Computer has been chosen to represent the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, the BBC has announced.
Look Mum No Computer is a solo artist, songwriter and YouTuber, who is also described as "an inventor of unique musical machines."
The singer first arrived on the music scene back in 2014 as Sam Battle, frontman of indie rock band Zibra. The group performed at Glastonbury in 2015 for BBC Introducing. Since then, he has been performing and recording under his solo name.
"I find it completely bonkers to be jumping on this wonderful and wild journey," he said.
"I have always been a massive Eurovision fan, and I love the magical joy it brings to millions of people every year, so getting to join that legacy and fly the flag for the UK is an absolute honour that I am taking very seriously."

Love Look Mum No Computer. Hate to see his association with Eurovision
We shouldn't be in Eurovision. If the UK had any self respect, we'd be boycotting it like Iceland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain, and Slovenia.
I’m not disagreeing with your sentiment but just pointing out it’s highly unlikely to see the UK go against Israel - from the Balfour Declaration to the Palestine Act 1948, the UK played a critical part in forming Israel as we know it today and are ultimately the catalyst of the war.
The history of the two states are deeply intertwined and no doubt benefit both parties (e.g a British ally to strengthen access to the Suez Canal).
Unless there’s a monumental shift in the entire political landscape of the UK (even the rise of anti-immigration sentiment is actually in favour of Israel), the two states will continue their long-standing support of one another.
