One thing you can't say is that was a boring game.

Side note: I love we're doing game threads on Lemmy!

Man I’m sure glad I deleted my Reddit account so no one can dig up all my anti-coach prime comments on there

The CU defense held up longer than I thought, but they seem to be roughly who we expected. The CU offense is coming together much quicker than I thought, I'll admit it.

The offense in this game is like a heavyweight bout. Can’t believe that Prime is already got the buffs rolling on offense. Sean Lewis was a really good hire and I thought he’d be a P5 head coach by now.

4

CUs offense is really impressive. If they go up by two scores right off the bat that could be huge.

This game is much more exciting than I expected.

Man I don't want to turn away, but I have to pick up a pizza to get back before the 3:30 games... Should have ordered delivery

For Colorado this is already a massive improvement over last year. I feel they will be top tier in the next three years. Just in time for my own kid to start going there.

Yeah I feel like I was higher than consensus on Colorado coming into the season but this is still way better than I predicted. Granted, TCU could just be way worse than expected, but this is still great for Colorado. Should be an exciting future for the Big 12

Granted, TCU could just be way worse than expected

What was expected from them? They certainly shouldn't be #17 in the AP poll. They lost so many guys. The only thing really going for them is if you think Sonny Dykes is really good

3

Yeah they definitely just have a legacy rank based on making the NCG last year, realistically they shouldn’t have been ranked. But they were still expected to be top half of the Big 12.

3

oof, well you win some you loose some. Good drive for the cavs

edit: wrong game thread but you get the idea

3

Well, that happened. 'Scuse me, between my alma mater on Thursday and my wife's alma mater, also my local team for the last two decades....

I think I have kerosene to go drink. Worst part of this is now I actually need Colorado to be legitimately good all year so this doesn't look as bad.

3

I can’t believe how well he’s still playing after over 100 snaps. Will be interesting to see if he can keep it up the whole season without being injured

2

Boy, the whole Big Noon Kickoff show was basically a Colorado show... It would be hilarious if TCU absolutely crushes the Buffs

3

Score: 24-21

Gus Johnson: Looks like we got an old-fashioned Big XII game

This isn't even the final form of Big XII football. Just wait until triple overtime...

2

Hate to say it, but I think Deion is the real deal, at least going from this game.

2

Why are we still getting post-game coverage when the game went over? They need to switch the broadcast to the Texas game already

2

Have family in town and haven't been able to pay attention like I might have liked. Probably the best thing for my blood pressure.

Nice return! Go Frogs!

2

I can’t believe how quickly this cobbled-together team is looking like the real deal. I never would’ve imagined them doing this good. And I don’t think TCU looks bad either, other than Morris.

2

Last team to have the ball is going to win this. Both defenses are out of gas

1

Special teams also getting that redemption arc going here in the 2nd half

edit: I did it again
