Wild Cyberpunk Heist Shooter Where You Hack People’s Brains To Steal Data Faces Layoffs Before It’s Even Out

It sucks hearing about an upcoming cyberpunk game in an article describing layoffs. A heist shooter in a cyberpunk world actually sounds like a fun idea. It reminds me of the Syndicate reboot from 2012 which had similar missions. That game didn't deserve the "Syndicate" name but it was a fun game in its own right. I liked it, anyway. What was I talking about? Oh right, Den of Wolves. Here's the Steam link:

Syndicate 2012 was a fun game. But that game is an online service game. I skip those on principle.

I loved that game and still think about it every now and then. Sadly, it seems like only you, me, and maybe a dozen other folks even know it existed.

It's also somewhat well known for being featured in an hbomberguy video about one of the sound effects from it

2

It always amazed me, as well, how little the game was known. A modern remake could be a lot of fun!

ooooh

Next up for me is going indie–making way smaller games, focusing on health and family, and just enjoying game development

IDK, sounds to me like he chose the healthier way
