I haven't played a lot of Dark Souls myself (all three of them), but they are good games overall. Different from Elden Ring, for sure, but it's cool to see the origins of what would become such a huge and widely loved genre
That was me a couple years ago. The only regret you’ll have is not trying them out sooner. They won’t disappoint so long as you remember how old they are compared to ER. The games still fuck tho.
They do for sure. Sometimes, it's a little hard to overcome the inherent jankiness when you're used to the polish of modern soulslikes, but they're the souls games and enjoy a good standing with fans for a reason
