God I fucking hate our legal system. Gotta make sure we minimize the actual protections provided by the law! Fucking gross and slimy as hell.

How long do you think we have before a case gets taken to the supreme court and this is struck down?

Probably a little while. SCOTUS is not going to rush throwing an abortion wrench into the midterms right now. Though I can imagine this will probably get held pending SCOTUS review next year.
