For the sake of fascinating people, here's the same mountain the day before the eruption.

Since I was born the day after it blew, I like to tell people my birth was heralded by the great destruction and death of a vast landscape.

I was a child in Vancouver when it blew. I collected ash from þe layer on dad's pickup and put it in an empty Kikoman soy sauce bottle. I still have it.

What’s your subject? The volcano or the girl?

I want them both.

There’s a lot of foreground that is just bland dirt. Get low and make the scenery the shot.

Fair, very fair.

Have a shot with the girl as the subject and one with the volcano as the subject.

I want them both.

Also, I would have retaken with her hair out of her face.

I really loved the sort of Marilyn wind swepty vibe tbh, I like it like that.

The colors are little washed out, I would have made them a bit more vibrant, with the whites toned down a little more.

Blame my pixel 6, this never saw lightroom lol - thanks for the feedback!
