The Gillette Tech is very efficient compared to how mild it feels in the skin. I like that for a nice slow methodical shave so I tend to use it a fair amount in the weekends. The GEMs are my weekday warriors and all purpose favorites.
@[email protected] used Gunpowder Spice yesterday which inspired me to use my Black River soap and frag today, which also has a gunpowder note but with a rose, floral base. It's very unique. I have some popular mainstream frags too which some of which I enjoy very much, and some mainstream dupes, but I like that when I wear a nice, original scent from a wetshaving artisan I know no one else I come across is likely going to be wearing the same thing. I like to hope I'll make a unique impression.
Lather: Wet Shaving Products - Black Amber Vanille - Soap
Post Shave: Aqua Velva - Musk - Aftershave
Post Shave: Zingari Man - The Stargazer - Aftershave Serum
Things were feeling great and going well until I gave myself a little cut. I had a rough shave with this soap yesterday, too, so obviously it's the soaps fault and not mine .
Today's theme soap is Stirling Soap Co. Gin and Tonic on the Rocks. I don't have that soap or any soaps with enough matching scent notes. I do have a good collection of Stirling soaps. Haverford is much more my kind of scent. Bond's Inspired by Whisky goes well with it. Tobacconist is a ... tobacco leaf on top.
Today's challenge soap is Stirling - Gin & Tonic on the Rocks. I don't have this specific soap, but I have plenty of Stirling! They're easily one of my favorite wetshaving brands.
Lampasas was part of the 2025 Black Friday release. It's scented with Texas cedarwood oil, sweetgrass, sage, and mesquite smoke. An excellent scent if you like a bit of smoke and wood.

Quick luxury shave after my run. I didn't get as close this morning with the straight as I thought.
Sabre arrived today, I'm very glad to have one in my den. It's a fantastic razor.
