I was banned from Memes even though I hadn't posted anything there for months
I assume it has something to do with the discussion in the other thread on YPTB. Still doesn't make sense to only ban me from one community I haven't interacted with in a while.
Edit: It turns out it is an instance wide ban on lemmy.ml. Some people have told me already that I should see it as a badge of honor. Honestly, I can just shrug. I don't visit lemmy.ml anyways.

Their comments containing Zionist apologia are still on their profile and are the most recent ones they made on Lemmy.ml (since their more recent ones won't federate to an instance they're banned from).

it's weird though because they've been angrily accusing me of treating them badly for telling the truth but they've shown unusual restraint for Feddit admins by not banning me from the instance.

Yeah, also as a bonus I messaged sh.itjust.works admins because it was to my understanding that using their platform to make disgusting bad faith accusations wasn't okay and they said they don't want to suppress "political opinions" in response to that comment I screenshotted. So not only have opinions of goat been clarified, but also opinions of an enlightened centrist instance. Shame too, I thought they were a good place as far as I knew them but it seems they are not.

I wouldn't have been as inclined to agree before today because they've been less tolerant of bad shit in the past but after sending them the comment and having them reject my report of something so objectively bad faith I'm inclined to agree. Maybe someone should ask the fediverse foundation about this https://fediverse.foundation/instanzen/. They list feddit as a self moderated instance hosted by the foundation. It's possible they are on board with it but who knows, but maybe they just don't know how much of a detractor their admin is.
