What’s your over/under on canes wins this year? Seems like every other year they’re supposedly just around the corner from being “back”…
Looking at their schedule, I think anything fewer than 8 wins would be disappointing. That said, they’ll probably win 7 games.
Game is in a weather delay, kicks off at 7:22.

I don't think it's official, but that name was used when they played before.
Also, heads up I think there's some slight federation issues between lemmy.world and fanaticus.social. I can't see this comment when logged into Fanaticus. I noticed it on a few comments yesterday. They would eventually federate but with a lengthy delay. It's sparse enough for now, but I'll monitor it and ping our admin if it gets worse. Seems like only lemmy.world is affected
Wonder if this is a holdover effect from when we were de federated? That shouldn't have any impact but it's my only idea...
It may be a similar issue to what was discussed in this thread.
I think at the time Fanaticus was flagged as suspicious because of its bot traffic, but headie_sage was able to sort that out. I wonder if the explosion of traffic yesterday tripped some spam detector on lemmy.world or if it's just lemmy.world instability
EDIT: I think it's the latter. I can't see this thread but I can see all the other comments on a third party (feddit.uk)
Ah, I just noticed this issue as well. That’s certainly the benefit of having multiple accounts.

Earlier I thought it was the weather that was affecting the passing game, but I think it's just not great.
Going for 2 when up by 3 scores. Disrespectful or worth trying out the playbook in garbage time?
I had to miss the game, but yeah, not sure why they went for two.
