Bonus fun fact: Since Love and Hex takes place in a world with D&D rules, per all established rules about transformation spells and effects, the prince must have been wearing the crown and boxers (and nothing else) at the moment he was turned into a frog.

If you read the next one, you'll find he has the appropriate response for an adventurer - at that point he's still getting used to this family.
The changeling glamour does require the occasional refresh... She has a routine at this point.
