TIL how wild animals are vaccinated for rabies en masse
I began reading about rabies after I noticed one of the local cats behaving somewhat oddly and aggressively and ended up learning that my odds of catching it from a wild animal while hiking are lower than I previously believed.
There is one part of the article that I disagree with and it's right at the top: "But what if the animals you need to vaccinate are wild raccoons roaming through forests, or foxes living in the mountains? You can’t exactly call them into an office for an appointment."
I mean, have you tried? Maybe leave a message with their assistant? They're always busy when I see them.

I never knew wild animal mass vaccination was practiced. My mind blown today.
We need to impress on them the importance of it. Perhaps a forest-wide ad campaign?
My city does it for raccoons because tourists find them so attractive that they approach and feed them.
In fact the southern regions of Quebec are frequently doing it for raccoons, skunks and foxes, in localized areas.
There's articles in the news on this subject but most people don't pay attention to this.
Now all those foxes and raccoons have autism and are mind-controlled puppets of George Soros and Bill Gates. SMH what has this country come to?
I’m sure they’re not keen on rabies either, if only we could impress upon them the risks. Maybe draw some pictographs of them with rabies in the sand
