The Cosmere picked up by Apple TV
From the article (emphasis mine):
The deal is rare one, coming after a competitive situation which saw Sanderson meet with most of the studio heads in town. It gives the author rarefied control over the screen translations, according to sources. Sanderson will be the architect of the universe; will write, produce and consult; and will have approvals. That’s a level of involvement that not even J.K. Rowling or George R.R. Martin enjoys.
By the Almighty's Tenth Name, please, Apple, don't mess this up!
You forgot to actually include the article:

I'm cautiously optimistic, this could be awesome. AppleTV has a decent track record.
Although I still cannot begin to imagine how Stormlight could be done in live action, when even dirt doesn't exist in the vast majority of all scenes.
Dammit, thanks, it's my first time posting on Lemmy.
As for my optimism, it's pretty high because of the comments he left on Reddit after the announcement (again, emphasis mine), like:
and
Please, please, be good 🙏
I'm also very cautiously optimistic. For me it's more of a worry of the sheer amount of story in the cosmere already. Either they will have to cut a LOT to get it all or they will be busy for a while. And then only keep going until it's not making a profit anymore and cancel in the middle. I think crem could easily be like clay dust and give the visual enough. Otherwise they just need lots of rocky landscapes.
Oh damn, Sanderson retaining control gives me hope this will actually be good.
About storming time!
As long as Brando leads the whole time they can take my money.
