the series finale of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will air Thursday, May 21.

Such a shame, but I look forward to whatever Colbert does next.

I mostly hope he stays active and doesn't take an extended hiatus or move away from political content.

In recent interviews he's said he knows what he wants to do next, but doesn't want to say. I expect he'll take a little while off and shift more into acting, possibly stage acting, but that's just a guess.

I think he'll avoid politics for a little while, at least until Trump is gone.

How would that even look under the current climate? I honestly can't imagine. I don't think he'd be comfortable being as cruel and vitriolic as you have to be to play the role these days.

Yeah the punch line “so we murdered them” isn’t going to work.

Nothing the Nazis are doing right now is funny.

Colbert as UberGruppenFuhrer.

I honestly can’t imagine

he brought the character back for a skit just recently

Why does it have to be Colbert? Take one of the unfunny Jimmies instead!

Kimmel. There is nothing funny or entertaining about that dude.

As a matter of fact, when Trump's people went after him I got really pissed. I want him to be canceled because he's a shit entertainer. Not because he says something about Trump.

I kind of like him. Though I pretty much only watch a closer look and corrections.

15

Corrections is a gem and Closer Look is excellent. He also has some fun reoccurring sketches like "Leave Him Alone" guy starring Lutz and "Jokes Seth Can't Say". He's also a fun interviewer, much more loose and relaxed.

Long way of saying after Colbert he's my #1 in late night.

14

Seth is a great interviewer because he seems to know a lot of his guests on a personal level. It's much more interesting than the usual "We're shilling a product" interview

2

Meyers is funny as hell. I'd take him over Colbert. His hatred of the administration is honest and pure.

5

After first episode unless I see Nahla being arrested for war crimes I aint going to miss it...

1

None of those cuckly fascist lovers want anyone even remotely critical of the fuhrer on their networks

12

But some times folks, he likes to just pick up a bunch of discarded news print from the back of a McDonald's public toilet and then redact them properly leaving only the correct amount of numbers to declare a date... Meanwhile!

14

I mean, that would be glorious. But there's no way in hell he could afford Colbert.

You reached the end
