It was the big concert celebrating the opening of the Rock and Roll Museum in Cleveland. I distinctly remember watching Chuck Berry perform Johnny B Good with Springsteen and the EZ Street Band backing him up. I remember the song sounding terrible, Chuck Berry walking off mid song and the confused look on Springsteen's face. Yet after commenting about this online, someone responded saying the video was on YouTube and it shows Berry playing it through to the end. I had to admit they were right but immediately went searching for what I thought I saw 30 years ago. I did find interviews with Springsteen and his band saying Berry kept changing key, turning the whole thing into a mess then he walked off stage. They said this happened in a stadium full of people at the 1995 Rock Hall concert. Does anyone remember this or know where I'm getting confused?
