All good. I'm not sure what you call a normal photo of a person taken by another individual anymore, portrait was just the first thing to come to mind.
But a selfie is a photo taken by the subject, which is where the "self" part of the word comes from.
You're absolutely right, I just thought the portrait was somehow inappropriate. I'll see how I handle it in the future; luckily, most of the time they're proper selfies

This is what you call a portrait, not a selfie.
Is a portrait not something like a picture from picasso? english isnt my first language, so dont be to hard with me haha
