"This hotel is independently owned and operated, and these actions were not reflective of Hilton values,” Hilton told The Independent in an email statement. “We have been in direct contact with the hotel, and they have apologized for the actions of their team, which was not in keeping with their policies. They have taken immediate action to resolve this matter and are contacting impacted guests to ensure they are accommodated.”

Probably not, their ownership seem to have changed course. Pathetic

I work in the hospitality industry, and the overwhelming majority of people who do so are supportive of diversity. Makes sense because the whole thing doesn't work if you're not welcoming.

That said, any large hierarchical organization seems incapable of standing up to the administration, so I'm not surprised Hilton corporate is distancing itself.
