Disappointing, but oh well? The upcoming Olympics gets a lot of slack, but I reckon it'll put us on the "big boy list" of Australian cities. Lang Park has horrible acoustics anyway
Sounds like it was just a population size thing, only two cities picked so went for the biggest ones, inevitably when Brisbane is bigger than Sydney assume we'll get picked first or second with Melbourne
It’s a bit disappointing but it’s not the worst thing in the world. Living in Brisbane you get used to missing out on things that the other two get. It is what it is.
Of course there’s always the option to just go to Sydney or Melbourne.
at least we aren’t Perth or worse, Adelaide.
