This works, but why does it work this way? If black pushes the pawn on d1 and converts to a queen, white is in check and can't do the second move. Or am I misunderstanding something?
Nd3 blocks the check and discovery check on the black king
Nd3 is not part of the instruction given in the spoiler though?
