X3: Albion Prelude

They really shit the bed on the sequel didn't they

Wait, I thought X4 improved after its rocky launch and a lot of people gave it praise? (Although I recall that it was super clunky and the AI was quite rough)

Yea Rebirth was..... meh at best.

X4 is pretty damn good, but feels very different to X3.

Also I mostly play SW:LU Star Wars: Litcube's Universe which is a great great overhaul.

  • Skyrim

  • Witcher
  • Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, I'm guessing I'm the right audience for Starfield :)

That said, I liked but didn't love No Man's Sky. Wandered around and got a bit bored. Tried a few times to get more into it but couldn't.

rock band 2 (and guitar hero 2) introduced me to my favorite band, That Handsome Devil. though it took about a decade to really get into them

2

Rimworld

Kenshi

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly/Misery/etc

And because 3 is too little: Any Bethesda RPG

Mafia 2

Torn between Mass Effect 3 or Skyrim for 3rd place

3

I was lucky not to be spoiled and the ending fucking blew me away. The greatest videogame moment of my life

  • Skyrim
  • Fallout 4
  • Cyberpunk 2077

Starfield is going to scratch a lot of those same itches.

Path of exile

Disgaea (any except 6)

Final fantasy 8

The competition for this list is immense however. RimWorld, harvest moon/Stardew valley, Morrowind, starseige tribes, StarCraft brood war, monster train, deadcells and Tetris attack are all vying for any place on that list.

  • Mafia

  • Alan Wake

  • Kingdom Come Deliverance

(Not necessarily in that order). I guess the main takeaway would be that I enjoy detailed and story-heavy singleplayer games.

I have to replay Alan Wake before the sequel comes out. I've got great memories of this title

2

Absolutely, I'll probably replay it in the week before the release to refresh my memory.

Top 3? I mean i can just list you a few of my favorites, but theres no solid top 3.

  • Halo Reach
  • Everquest
  • Diablo 2
  • NieR Automata
  • Slay the Spire
  • Yakuza
  • Dragon Age (and Baldurs Gate 3 is competing here)
  • Skyrim
  • Age of Empires 2
  • Tekken
  • Smash bros
  • Shadows of Mordor/War
  • Titanfall
  • Fable

Take what you want but i dont think theres a pattern to be found

2

Outer Wilds

Skyrim... no, Fallout (maybe NV, maybe 4)

Witcher 3

2

Fallout 3/ new Vegas (TTW makes it so I can use this as one game lol) No man’s skys just meditative for me. Having a hard time picking a third… I did binge valheim for like 150 hours but never played it since. Maybe I’ll say mass effect trilogy.

My answers change almost every day, but for now I'd say:

  • Hollow Knight
  • Jak & Daxter series
  • Demon's souls

None of my top games are RPGs, but I do enjoy them a lot. Loved Skyrim and Fallout 3, looking forward to playing something that hits that same feeling.

2
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Nier Automata
  • Borderlands 2
  • Borderlands 3
  • San Andreas

Those are probably my top 5. In no particular order

1

My top 5 in no particular order.

  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Borderlands 2
  • Minecraft
  • Factorio
  • Control
1
  • Deus Ex
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Metal Gear Solid

.. I think. Its hard to rank such great games. But these are the ones I don't mind replaying. Which is a big deal because I don't replay games. Or movies. Or anything.

StarCraft - Broodwar / Dota

Life is strange

Skyrim

System Shock

Ultima 7 Serpent Isle
