I got the lowest possible score because I misunderstood the assignment and just enclosed the horse in a single tile.

Very characterful game, and quite fun too. I do worry about the replayability of it being a daily though.

My first attempt got 20. I've refined it to
63.6468, I think I got it. That seems to be the highest score anyone else has made.I got to 87 pretty quickly but couldn't really iterate on it. I had to completely reset to get more.
