What case do you have on your Pixel?

I've had a Bellroy for my Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro, but I've found that they reduced the quality significantly on the newer ones. My care is scuffed and torn, but I've always handled my phone just as gently as before.

I may go for the Hazel silicone one from the Google store this time, it's really pretty.

What cases do people recommend? Personally I don't care for the OtterBox type cases, but I'm open to hearing what everyone uses!

I use Spigen cases... thin, light, grippy, tough, and cheap. Easy to get on and off. They don't obstruct button or port access, while still providing good protection to those things as well as the screen and camera lenses.

I do use rigid screen and lens protectors, also.

Same here. Spigen tough armor and a glass screen protector and lens protector. There's some dust buildup by the type-c port and speakers, but what case won't have that?

And they're so easy to pop off and back on that cleaning them up periodically isn't a big deal.

Spigen Thin fit. It's slim and it adds some plastic that is not slippery for me. (Similar to the nexus 5 / 5X black back cover).

I would love to try a case that has a gel quality like the one you find in the apple official gel silicon case. Because every time I see an iPhone with those and I try it, feels like grabbing a soft eraser. If somebody knows a brand that makes these let me know!

I just ordered that one on your recommendation. Thanks!

I'm not happy with my current case. It's not grippy enough, and the rear plastic is so thick that my magnetic car mount doesn't work well. It's the Caseology Athlex.

Hope you like it. It's not super grippy. But compared to a normal TPU case. This one is more grippy

At least it is grippy enough with dry hands

It's perfect, thanks! The back is nice and thin, and now my magnetic mount is much stronger! Its plenty grippy, too.

Naked, as always. I have the fold and with them being as big as they are already I don't need to make it any more unmanageable. Even still, I haven't used a case in years.

Yup. Peak Design makes a bunch of accessories that work with it (since it has a square notch in the back) but it works perfectly fine with other magsafe stuff too.

This is the same one I'm using on my Pixel 7. I also have the bike mount and I love it.

2

I'd love to do that, but the phone slips off my wireless charger onto the floor if I do 😅

2

I swap between the Google brand one and the Dbrand one, both really nice

5

Damn. Last case I bought from them was my lg g3 lol. Idk why I remember that.

EDIT: Found it, lmao. If anyone's still rocking their lg g3 pick this one up, it's 🔥

I use the dBrand case, but I take it off when I'm at my desk at work or home. I only use it when I'm out and about.

4

The dBrand grip is very good. The case itself is plain black, but being dBrand, you can customize it with skins. I've had it on my pixel 6 pro since launch, have dropped the thing a bunch and it honestly still looks pretty much new

4

None. Its fallen multiple times onto my rule floor and it doesn't have a scratch!

My last couple of phones have used Pela cases. They're made with flax husk and other natural materials and are compostable. A bit pricey though

I was just looking at these, but I've read that the screen edge gestures don't work as great as some other cases? Not sure how true that is

3

I guess I haven't really noticed, or I'm just used to it. I have noticed the fit loosens a bit over time, which would be my main complaint.

3

For my pixel 7 I've got a dbrand case. I like it because it shields the camera and makes the back flat rather than letting the camera bump stick out. Great protection for drops but maybe a bit bulky if you don't like the OtterBox style.

3

The clear Case Mate one they were selling on the Google Store when I bought my 6a. Up until this phone I'd never used a case and never broken a phone, but for whatever reason I decided to put this one in a case. It's probably survived two drops it wouldn't have otherwise, so that's nice.
