Reader mode for articles no longer an optio
Sinse updating to 8.2 links opened in the in app browser no longer open in reader mode, when clicking on the menu there isn't any option to enable reader mode. In system settings the option to use reader mode by default isn't visible. When searching for it in the settings it shows it as a result, however the opened page does not contain the option. Anything I'm missing or is this a bug?
Hey there! You're not missing anything - reader mode on Android was temporarily removed with v0.8.2.
For a bit more context, reader mode relied on an external package that's no longer being actively maintained/updated. This was causing some issues on our end and so it has been disabled for now until we can find a suitable replacement for it. Hope this clears up your question!
Ah makes sense, thanks. I checked the release notes but I couldn't see anything regarding reader mode so I thought I was going crazy
