They’re cultural Republicans

Nothing would change the way they vote, nothing

You have voters who are so brainwashed that even if they fully believe that Trump screwed them will still vote for the next GOP candidate.

At best, they will stay home and refuse to vote.

They have a proud heritage of voting to get kicked in the nuts by Republicans and blaming Democrats for it. Please respect their idiotic decisions.

29

Asking the real questions!

But all a challenger has to do is remind them that Argentina got $80b from their “America First” president.

I feel like farmers probably voted for Trump, so they should probably just live with the consequences.

Idk I think they should try pulling themselves up by their bootstraps instead of accepting a government handout

Then stop voting for facists assholes. I hope every last farmer ends up in trump’s for profit homeless prisons

18

They're ungrateful socialist.

12 billion and leopards to eat their faces, the nerve.

16

I’m sure the tariff refund. The check for like a month of healthcare. The DOGE refund. Will solve all of their issues.

Yeah I agree. Cheering this on feels good, because fuck Trump and fuck Trump voters, but it is so shortsighted.

The remaining small- and medium-sized farms are going to go under, and get bought up by the big Ag firms. We are speeding straight towards a monopoly on farming in this country.

The consequences of an Ag monopoly will be devastating for the environment, devastating for the economy, and devastating for anyone who wants to eat healthy food.

3

Remember those feelings around election time. More importantly remind them.

We’re all frustrated by devastation to the economy, the environment, our reputation and influence in the world. Some of us are getting really anxious about our longer term position in the sciences and technology, our culture, our law and justice, of what’s going to remain after the looters are gone, whether they somehow become a “political dynasty”.

But we didn’t vote for this and it’s getting much tougher to have sympathy for those who did this to all of us

Were these subsidies going to small farmers though? Usually these things end up benefiting the giants.

2

Yea the subsidies disproportionately benefit the large corporate farms.

But they are also one of the last things keeping the small farmers solvent.

4

Easy to say, but how do you get those farmers on board with that?

2

You reached the end
