Xbox games 60% off at Fred Meyer (Kroger):

We've all seen how Costco, Target, and Walmart have eliminated their Xbox sections, looks like Best Buy is not far behind...

I saw this tonight at the local Fred Meyer store (now owned by Kroger).

They do in the Pacific NW! To be fair, Fred Meyer was it's own thing for almost a century before Kroger bought them. I used to get Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 games there back in the day!

Xbox wants all the games on GamePass so they can charge people perpetually and they will own nothing.

So you're just going to ignore that all physical sales are down across the board and make up that little story that pretends like ms tells publishers they can make discs or what to sell in stores?

Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I guess you're just going to ignore that Xbox is flopping and selling consistently less than playstation/xbox even before the hardware crisis. And the undisputed fact that MS has been unsubtly pushing game pass as an alternative to buying and owning games.

Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Nope, I'm noting that Xbox is closing up shop while Playstation and Switch are doing fine.

microsoft gave up on the hardware game. Sony and nintendo were phoning it in in various ways too so hopefully valve entering wakes up both of them (unlikely)

Ignore every fanboy. The stupidity in this thread hurts.

Physical sales for all consoles has fallen through the floor. The grocery store is just making space because people but games online.

It's sad. Selling your games will be dead next gen 😞.

They are only eliminating the Xbox section, the Playstation and Switch sections are fine.
