I feel like unless we get like 100m, we're not selling ESR. Academy homegrown product who is willing to stay forever at least according to his latest statement from a while back, last few days of the window, and a fan favourite. I'd take 100m though, cuz that's just stupid money — provided we can get someone in to replace him.
I don't think we want to sell at all though. Definitely trust Mokbel more than I do Phillips. But I feel like the price we would want to sell they might as well go for like Jacob Ramsey + another player, who wouldn't be better than ESR but would surely be more worth their money.
ESR just needs time, we didn't give him the 10 shirt just to leave the next season. He basically sat out last season and had major surgery. I thought the club already stated he wasn't for sale.
Can't believe no one wants Tavares and even a PL club like Forest are just going for a loan... wtf is with this club and selling players tbh. Tavares is easily good enough to play for them regularly. Man was keeping Tierney out for stretches.
@Astrealix@HaleEndGrad remember that there have been reports that Forest are behind on some of their payments to other clubs. A loan with a smaller upfront payment might be the only way to guarantee we get anything.
Arsenal rejected Chelsea's offer. There has to be a lot offered for him to leave which I doubt can be reached. You never know with Chelsea tho. They've been vulture-like in recent transfer windows.
