It's so weird seeing wintery pics from everywhere while there is plus degrees all over Norway like it's still September.

The fact that it was almost 20c in Oslo the other day, in the middle of December sure is something.

These temperatures are just sad. Makes the dark days even darker too.

No no no. It's darker because we turned the clocks forward a few months ago. Now it's pitch black outside at 5:30. Feels like midnight.

The sun is rising tomorrow at 9:15 and sets 15:14. Midnight starts at 16 as you leave work and the only daylight is seen from the lunchroom windows.

Do they leave them like this so they won't freeze in place?

yeah but seasoned Canadians know to use a windshield cover.

I'm not a seasoned Canadian. I live in lower coastal BC.

No seasons, only wet.

My wife bought a windshield cover at the flea market last weekend. We live in Florida.

That's actually a really smart thing to do when you know there's snow coming, makes it easier to clear the windscreen and stops the wipers from freezing to the windscreen overnight. The more you know!

I know that pain. I want terribly to channel 'not caring' whilst throwing my hands in the air, but I still feel like a moron and I will overthink it for way too long after the event.

Meanwhile in New England it’s false spring. We had a small snowfall like a week ago but ever since the temp has been 10-20°F so that little bit of snow never melted. Yesterday got above freezing so the snow is gone!

You reached the end

Now just throw your hands in the air.....and wave em like you just don't care! | Spyke
