Curious about the "best" wings

I recently went to the Bird's Nest on Altgeld on a rec that they had the best wings in Chicago. Now, I'm no wings connoisseur, but they were pretty great. However, wings are not something I usually order. Anyone else been there for wings, and can you confirm or deny if these are in fact the shit?

They’re solid but not the best in my opinion. Imo the best wings in Chicago are from crisp but they’re not traditional buffalo wings; they’re Korean style wings.

Birds nest is amazing, one of the best for traditional wings. My favorite wing spot in Chicago is Crisp, though those aren't your traditional buffalo wings. Try it anyway.

I've had several people recommend Crisp to me, but the one time I tried it, it was super disappointing. maybe I just got a bad batch

I have no idea what I would even consider to be "the best wings."

Everyone has such different preferences when it comes to wings. My brother prefers deep fried whole wings and the sauces them. I prefer parts with lots of sauce, very spicy but still very edible, wingettes.

Did you enjoy them? Were they the best wings you've eaten? Do you eat a lot of wings to actually have an informed opinion? Or are you some mouth breather that just wants to push forward a recommendation to seem informed.

I fear it's the latter.

Uh, wow. "Mouth breather"? Really? What a douchey reply. Just having a discussion here, guy. I said in my post that I dont normally order wings.

Oh OK. So you just want an informed recommendation.
