Ehh, Jesus isn’t a super uncommon name.

When I was a little kid, we got a Christmas card from the newspaper delivery boy (I swear I’m not that old, but that sounds ancient), signed “Jesus.” My mom was a devout Catholic and got offended at what she saw as tip-motivated blasphemy. My dad let her cook for a bit, until she made to call the newspaper, then he delicately suggested that it was probably pronounced with an “h” sound. My mom probably sounds pretty unpleasant from this anecdote so far, but she laughed her ass off at herself for not thinking about that possibility and felt very sheepish about it.

I don't mean to say it's not a name in use, just that coke might not have as many Jesus bottles as they do Joshua bottles, depending on where this scene was made.

Jesus could be their most popular name, since it would sell not only to people with that name, but also Christians who would have to have a Jesus Coke. If I was a Christian teen, I would definitely want one sitting on a shelf in my room.

However, I'm betting that Coke would prefer to dodge any potential controversy, and several could be plausible, and never made a Jesus Coke.

So they did!

I'm not Christian, so I don't care. I'm a musician, and I started thinking how it would be cool to collected famous musical names. I got the idea when I saw Layla, one of my favorite songs. But no, I already collect enough crap.
