I don't think it's been proven that the nitrogen the beans/bacteria fix is available to the corn (before the bean plants die and decompose). Though, I have done this (along with squash), and it does seem to work pretty well. I think it gives you more vegetables per sq ft, than if you were to grow them all separately.
This is by far the highest quality beans and corn post I have seen yet. Should be in science memes, not shitpost.

Squash. The vines are thorny and help deter animals munching your corn. Its called the Three Sisters

I get what you're saying, but this isn't an example of that. The three sisters provided benefits to each other while growing simultaneously.
